version 1.0: Innovative political performance

“lights the way to the theatre of the future.” The Age

“Most theatre companies aim to give us a good night out. Version 1.0 goes the extra mile: it entertains, informs and then contributes to the betterment of our democracy.” The Sun Herald

“Theatre like this needs to be made. We need to interrogate the facts behind the facts, the background stories and contexts that contribute to significant events. We need theatre that is provocative, entertaining and contradictory, and Version 1.0 is certainly tackling the hard issues.” The Sydney Stage

Sydney-based version 1.0 is an ensemble of artists who make performance through collaboration, investigating and also enacting democracy.
