Kym Vercoe graduated from UWS/Theatre Nepean in 1996. She became a core member of Company Theatre Physical in 1998, and with them devised and performed Waltz No. 6, Tailing Out, Landed and Overexposed. For Harlos Productions she performed in King Lear in 2001 and 2002. Kym has worked extensively with ERTH visual and physical inc., both within Australia and internationally. For the Darlinghurst Theatre Company Kym has performed in Necessary Targets (RL Productions) and Sanctus (Theatre Kantanka). Kym worked as performer/deviser for Theatre Kantanka on Missing the Bus to David Jones, Bargain Garden and the recent development of Club Singularity. In 2012 Kym toured with Theatre Kantanka to perform Sanctus in Brazil. For version 1.0 Kym has toured nationally with The Wages of Spin, and worked as a deviser/performer on the Helpmann Award winning THIS KIND OF RUCKUS, the Drover Award winning Deeply offensive and utterly untrue, the Peace Trust Award winning seven kilometres north-east and The Table of Knowledge. Kym is currently working on her first feature film in Bosnia, with Golden Bear Award winning Bosnian filmmaker Jasmila Žbanić. In 2013, Kym performed in the world premiere of In The Eruptive Mode with Sabab Theatre as part of the Sydney Festival . .
