PROGRAM NOTES

"I mean, if you stopped every time something felt weird you'd never get anything done."

One day we had too many coffees and it drove us to act. We’ve used ourselves as guinea pigs; we’ve locked ourselves in this café for the last 10 days drinking so much coffee that we’ve surpassed the apathy barrier. It’s a new frontier and we want to share the experience with you. You too can understand, have the courage to go further, to leap and feel the freedom in your hair. You are not cowards, you are not waiting for the right moment, you are not required to pay any money, you are not in any danger. You are here with us. You are witnesses.

A comfortable space, shared with people very far from relaxed. She thinks she saw something happen, but didn’t want to get involved. He’s struggling with the truth, with the consequences, with the possibility of communicating at all. And don’t even mention the coffee. They take the audience hostage in a café filled with stimulants and biscuits, but rapidly running out of sugar.

Two people in a state of extreme agitation butt heads and break down over their desire for action. Is it possible to change the world from inside a café?
